LECTURER

Core responsibilities:

  • Principal Lecturer for Tourism and Hospitality for all levels: Advanced Diploma, Undergraduate (Bachelor) as well as Graduate (Masters).
  • Teach, Tutor, Facilitate and Supervise final project dissertations across key business management disciplines (Marketing, Logistics, Management and Marketing) for both undergraduate and graduate programmes of partner universities.
  • Engage, Establish and Develop industry partner relationships to enhance student learning experience and the school’s unique positioning in entrepreneurship and experiential education.
  • Develop strategies to facilitate and deliver an outstanding student experience in business management modules.
  • Liaise professionally with academic and professional staff of the university partners as well as internal academic staff in the delivery of courses and modules.
  • Conduct and develop professional short courses as determined and assigned by the school as part of professional programmes.
  • Work and create effective relationships with the school’s diverse internal and external stakeholders.
  • Participate actively in: (i) adopting new teaching pedagogy; and (ii) developing innovative learning and assessment methods to enhance students learning experience
  • Promote and implement industry relevance, digital pedagogies, networking and career development activities and initiatives
  • Involve in extra-curricular activities either leading or supporting initiatives in the enrichment of student experience and school branding
  • Represent and participate in the school’s social and marketing events both internally and externally
  • Undertake ad hoc projects as assigned by Management.

Requirements and Qualifications:

  • Graduate Degree (especially an MBA) is preferred. Candidates with ACTA would have distinct advantage.
  • 3 to 5 years of working experience in a relevant corporate entity at managerial or senior management level
  • Minimum 2 years experience in the delivery of business programmes at Diploma, Bachelor and Masters levels. Candidates with strong industry links preferred.
  • Entrepreneurial drive tempered with a collegial style for effective implementation of practical and creative initiatives for students.
  • Strong passion to develop students’ abilities and business acumen with co-curricular and extra-curricular activities.
  • Work collaboratively as a team to deliver student focused outcomes.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to communicate clearly with all stakeholders in order to develop excellent relationships and foster conducive learning environment.
  • Willing to travel and be deployed for teaching assignments in the region.
  • Understands and appreciates the significance of commercial viability of the academic programmes of the institution.

SENIOR BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT EXECUTIVE

Core responsibilities:

  • Provide programme consultation and course admission advisory to potential students
  • Soliciting new sales leads through networking with recruitment agents, and keeping them updated with any new products and services
  • Develop and implement marketing events / initiatives to expand student recruitment and business opportunities
  • Work closely with the management to plan and manage effective relationships with existing and new clients
  • Work closely with management to develop existing and new client relationships
  • Maintain close relationship and communication with students
  • Assist other sales team members when needed as well as other departments
  • Support and participate actively in all events organised by the company
  • Travel occasionally within APEC

Requirements and Qualifications:

  • Min. Diploma/ Adv Diploma/ Nitec/ Higher Nitec, major in any field
  • Candidate with prior working experience in education/training/events/marketing industry as well as candidates without experience will be considered
  • Proven track record in achieving sales targets
  • Excellent negotiation and interpersonal skills
  • Team player with good work attitude

Senior Marketing Executive

The Senior Marketing Executive oversees day to day digital and content marketing activities for the marketing department in the education, hospitality, fitness and co-working sectors.

Core responsibilities:

  • Conceptualising, developing and executing online marketing strategies, plans and campaigns to drive web traffic.
  • Planning and executing content across all marketing communications.
  • Writing copy for digital campaign and marketing collateral, including brochures, letters, emails and website.
  • Promote the company’s services through social media platforms such as Facebook, Instagram etc.
  • Monitoring ongoing campaign spend against the budget and keeping accurate records and highlighting where variances occur.

Requirements:

  • Degree in Marketing would be an advantage with a minimum of 3 years working experience.
  • Good command of English is a must.
  • Social media savvy and experience in digital marketing is a must.
  • Strong in languages with good writing skill is preferred.
  • Previous experience in the education, hospitality, fitness and co-working sectors is advantage.
  • Strong project management/organisational skills.
  • Positive attitude with the ability to be fluid and flexible when change is needed.

Business Development Manager/Director

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for the sales of academic programme and corporate training programme
  • Able to work independently and in-cooperation with marketing department to create marketing strategies to reach out to new customers engagement to close sales
  • Implements agreed upon sales strategies and plans with the view to expand customer base
  • Possess an entrepreneurial mind-set to maximise all opportunities to generate leads and sales
  • Demonstrates the ability to carry out a business conversation across all levels of customer, colleague and stakeholder
  • Possess and demonstrates good interpersonal communication skills, technical selling skills and product knowledge
  • Ability to conduct consultative sales and makes recommendation to prospects and clients
  • Proven track record of meeting sales target with hunter mentally
  • Create and conduct effective proposal presentation to corporations to increase partnerships
  • Maintains accurate records in all sales and prospective activities including sales calls, presentations and closed sales, participates and contributes to the development of educational programs offered to clients, prospects and company employees
  • Maintain contact with all sales recruited in the market area to ensure high levels of Client Satisfaction

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience in prospect for potential student in Singapore using direct telecalling, face to face consulting, and indirect methods such as networking and partnerships with corporation
  • Diploma/Degree/Masters in any field
